HOMEWORK I actually like homework, school and learning.  I could be a student forever... I love to be organized and scheduled!!!   But my kids (or some of them) it is their nemesis.   Growing Up When I was little, my parents stressed homework but it wasn't higher priority than chores, family, or church.  It was higher priority than extra curricular activities and friends.  Also it was our responsibility as an upper elementary child/student, to do our OWN homework.  My parents felt that the teacher needed to help us at school with hw.  They did encourage to get good grades so we could go to a college/university/higher education.  We learned if we didn't, then we couldn't get a good job and that would hinder abilities to progress in life. Twin's 10th Birthday celebration  Originally we had invited 4 kids per twin, but our party was at the last minute and on a hot/humid Thursday afternoon.  So we winged it, had one friend per twin... it was a success! We closed on our house in on September 6th.  Right now we are in transition in a temporary rental house (our friend's house - Lexia and Derek Thorton) for the month of September 2018.  Our friends are selling their home, they moved out into a rental and we are keeping it nice for the time. For the longest time (past 9 months) we just didn't know what we were supposed to do.  First we thought we were supposed to buy, then got the inspiration to rent.  Second... what area where we going to be in... staying in Wake Forest or moving into Raleigh?  Plans kept changing, we kept praying and things kept falling thru and finally the plans came together 1.5 weeks before we moved.  I was more stressed out about the kids starting school then actually moving. lol   On October 6th we will move again into our permanent house (at least for the next "who knows how long!"") in Raleigh.   I don't have any pictures to show.  We just got the ...
