Twin's Blessing Oufits!!!

Image
The Girl Blessing Outfit is finally finished. I took longer on it b/c I couldn't get it finished. But it is done and now no more sewing for awhile. I am sad but I don't want to set start projects and never finish them. With the babies coming I won't have time at first to sew. I do have their Christmas Stockings started so those will be easy to finish with Sherrrie's (my sister) help.       Marissa, Cousin Avery and Cousin Kira playing together in Brian's (my brother) garage. Troy and I went to Payson, UT for the day to get some stuff from their basement. We are storing most of our packed items at their house. We helped Brian and Heather with a little bit of yard work and spent the day with them. Thanks guys!

Pioneer Day Celebration

Today we went to downtown Salt Lake City with Lisa (my sister-in-law) and Marissa's cousins, Tyler (15), Allias (13) and Kailyn (9). Lisa flew into SLC to visit her family in Washington and also to go to a Scheuffele Family Reunion (Troy's mom side). Troy and I are the only ones not going to the family reunion because I am too far along with the twins. Lisa and the kids had never been to SLC and we went to the Day's of 47 Parade, Joseph Smith Film, Tabernacle, Visitor's Center, LDS Church Museum, LDS Conference Center and took pictures everywhere. I was able to rest a good amount of time and ride in a wheelchair!!!!! YES! That was at the end of the day and I needed it. We also played in the inflatable pool at the house yesterday. Enjoy.

"And there was Rain!"

Image
Since we have moved to Utah there really hasn't been a rain storm or rain event. Troy and I really do miss the rain, believe it or not. Finally yesterday we received some rain!!!!! So when we went outside, it started raining and Marissa loved it. Thank goodness   Marissa making funny faces.   Brushing the teeth. (She is a little wet b/c she tried to hop into the shower with Troy)

Calm Before the Storm

Well, the doctor has started some routine Non-Stress Tests, they happen twice a week. They usually start around 29/30 weeks for mothers who are pregnant with twins and if they make it that far. I sit with two little monitors on my tummy and track the heartbeats. I can either, read, watch tv, sleep or write while they monitor me for 30 minutes. Along with these twice a week visits, I still continue a regular doctor visit every-other week and ultrasounds every 3-4 weeks. So somehow they fit those in with the stress test and keep it straight. It kind of nice I am resting each morning for at least 30 minutes and taking a nap for at least an hour in the afternoon. Then resting at night after Marissa goes to bed. Really, my body is needing all the down time. I was telling a lady in our ward, I really like this "break" because it won't be like this in 5-6 weeks. This is definitely as I call it the "Calm Before the Storm". Troy and his mother have been awesome ...

Stinkies, Buckets of Water & Twin Boy Blessing Outfit

Image
Downtown Logan Helping Grandpa water the plants, sitting in one the buckets he is trying to fill up. The water was freezing and she didn't care! Twin Boy Blessing outfit. Oh yeah, it took me 3-4 days to make. Marissa loves to call her diaper, "Stinky", whether we know if it is wet or poopy. So you will find out that any time her diaper is dirty she refers to it as stinky.

July 4th!

We went with some friends to the Utah State Stadium for the fireworks on Thursday night. Then today we had the Conrad kids (friends in the ward and whom we went to the fireworks with) over to swim in the inflatable pool. During the picnic before the fireworks, Marissa wanted to show how she can talk on the phone. She did pretty good. I didn't think she would actually talk for me. Yeah!!!

Cleaning my toes

While we were on our way home from SLC, Marissa decided she wanted to clean her toes. She has some of my cleaning habits, for example she can't have her hands or feet dirty. Also she likes to take a rag, wet wipe or paper towel and clean everything. One thing that still amazes me is she will take her diaper to the trash. I am still surprised she hasn't tried to open it up every time. I am waiting for the day. This is the first time I am using my Flip Video Camera. Troy's parent's got it for my birthday.
