Memorial Day - Sunday nature walk

Sunday Nature walk/hike  Found 7 turtles to feed, a small waterfall, bamboo (tons of it), rocks to climb and lots of bugs. April said during the hike... "when are going to stop, I HATE hiking." I think she is tired of hiking... too bad little one, hiking is fun.  :)  lol

Jacolena's 2017 Spring Dance Recital Jacolena and Ms. Nutini (her 1st and 2nd grade Special Education Teacher)  This year was no different... Jacolena was thrilled to dance her heart away on stage and see all the family and friends at her recital.  Grandma and Grandpa, Ms. Nutini and our family were all there to support her. Jacolena and Lauren with Ms. Nutini At this time of the year I am READY for a break from Dance.  It is at the absolute WORST time of the day - dinner time.  It is a sacrifice that I make so she has something she can "call her own".  I also am so appreciate of the support of the dance company, her dance teacher and local companies because they make it free for Jacolena to attend dance  They help make the class and recital so special for our little girls/kids. Playdate, playhouse and Library Adventures

Moving a playset with Grandpa \ Our friends are getting rid of their ginormous play set and they are giving it to us for FREE as long as we take it off their property for FREE. So my dad was originally the one that contacted me about it to see if we were interested.  Of course!!  But sometime things for FREE come at a cost or at least a little work.  One afternoon I headed over to our friends home and helped grandpa take down the play set.  Took about 2 hours, but it worked.  Now the play set is sitting on grandpa's property in 3 pieces.  Hopefully we can get it over to our house before schools out, so we can use it for the summer.
