Why do I "ginx" myself?

Ok, so the last post I was talking about how Marissa isn't too bad in behavior. Well, goodness gracious the last day or 2 have been the exact opposite. :) The terrible twos have set in. I still love her but it can get pretty frustrating. We will keep trudging along.

Yes, Mommy?

Ok, so I must have an obedient child, right? well sometimes. The last few days Marissa has gotten to really saying yes and no, AND knows exactly what they mean now. She actually says "Yes mommy", but then is usually followed by a something mischievous a few minutes later. Whether it be trying to roll on Jackie or Jared, jumping on the bed as close as she can to one of them, hitting me or the twins, biting me, throwing all the magnetic letters on the fridge on the floor, trying to climb into the crib to get the twins, to screaming AND this is usually while I am feeding the twins. Of course she wants attention. Attention from mommy is hard to come by. I am very lucky she doesn't do much worse. Marissa is definitely starting to get into the terrible TWOS... In reality she really isn't that bad. I have to keep hoping that it won't get worse. I can handle this now. We shall see what is to come. :)

What Have YOU Been Up to?

Image
Here are some of the things WE have been up to lately?   When we first moved into the basement apartment, Marissa piled most of her toys on her bed.   Anyone want Yogurt ?     You would think Jared and Jackie would like Marissa to push them in her stroller. Not yet... :)

Ali came to visit

Alicia Alvarez came and helped us clean the basement apartment. After she helped me clean then she spent some time with us. Thanks Ali for coming!

No Internet

So, I won't be posting for a little bit. Troy and I have moved into a basement apartment a block awawy from his parent's till January. We don't have the internet but are going to see about getting it. For the mean time we have to use the computer at his parent's house. We love living at the apartment and having our own space. We do miss the fun choas at the house. We still go over there for dinners and fun.

Tucker's House

We spent the weekend at Sherrie's house (my sister) and it was a lot of fun. Halle's birthday Party was last weekend and Marissa had a blast. I tried to get pictures of all her kids holding one of the babies but I forgot Traver. He held Jared for a long time. Sherrie helped me out and the kids had fun helping with the twins and Marissa. I also got pictures of the twins "praying". We have the exact picture of Marissa doing the same thing around a month old.

I must be a cow b/c.....

So I am at my sister Sherrie's house for the weekend. For those of you who have used a breast pump you feel very exposed. As I was pumping out my milk for one of the twins my niece Halle walked into the room by accident. She commented,"Aunt Jill, you look like a cow pumping milk." I started laughing, it was funny but embarrassing b/c I didn't want all my nieces to see me pumping.

Priceless Moments

Image
Sticking a Qu-tip up her nose is one of favorite things to do. (even though mommy doesn't like it)   Reading a book while asleep? :)   Swinging a bat and actually hitting the ball. What an athletic little "Missa". Another moment.... Jackie rolled over twice. I just don't think a 4 week-old, 6lbs 4oz little newborn should be rolling over!!!!!!!!!!!! AGHH. But she did and Jared could do it too. He hasn't tried it yet but is really active too. Sorry didn't get it on video but will have to try again. Update on Twins: Jared- off of oxygen!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6 lbs 1oz, 19inches long, finally circumsized. Sits and watches people after he eats. Great little observer. Jackie- what an eater............. 6 lbs 4 oz, 19 inches long, rolled over twice. Active and loves attention. I can actually nurse them at the same time and both will take a bottle. YEAH.
