Multiple Nelsons

Today is my 34th Birthday.  I don't mind ya'll knowing my age and I don't mind aging.  I enjoy being just a little smarter and wiser. Usually I don't blog on birthdays but today was an interesting day.  It had its ups and downs that I probably won't forget.  There were also some tender mercies that helped me keep a positive attitude in  situations that were greatly needed. My day started early, 6:30 to be exact.  We all got ready for swim lessons @ 8am.  It was a chilly summer morning (61 degrees) for NC and I was just a little afraid "Jacolena" would have seizures during our swim lessons.  As we got started with our lessons and hopped into the pool, she didn't (Tender Mercy #1).  It was cold but I kept the kids going and they survived. Bouncy Egg Science Experiement  Our regular summer has started later this year because of our vacation.  I didn't mind at all!  It has helped me get thru this summer and not drive me crazy. When going to Costco we came upon our friends the Hills.  It was so great to see them! This summer we are doing Summer school 3 days a week, going to the library weekly, taking weekly field trips, swimming lessons, therapy, tutoring for the twins, playdates, stay-vacation with grandma, craft camp, sewing camp and having friends visit.  I am excited and can't wait to beat this HEAT! Aunt Annie and Jacolena.  On last Sunday night we said our goodbyes.  It was hard because we KNOW we won't see the Tuckers and Bartholomews for 2 years.  Our kids are growing up and changing.  Crazy A and Aunt Cho  Hopefully our family will have the opportunity before then the travel to Washington and stop by in Utah.  It makes it hard... the last time we saw the Tuckers and Bartholomews was 3 years ago.  Lots changes in 3 years.   Crazy A and Brekelle Averie and Tessa Jacolena and Brekelle Until we meet again we love you guys!

Crazy A and Jacolena Visiting Oak Island Lighthouse.  It was REALLY HOT. Missa and I on the first floor of the lighthouse. One of our FREE fun activities was walking down the pier.  Again, it was REALLY hot but the wind helped cut down the steaminess of the hotness.
