Picnic dinner at a local park during an HOUSE SHOWING. So if ya'll don't know... We are selling our house! For two reasons: 1. We need to eventually get into a bigger home. Our home is smaller (1500 sqft) and need more space. 2. We are getting out of debt (student and house renovation debt). That will be sooo NICE!! We had an offer by an investment company in June while we were on vacation, but it fell through. Now we are on a Second offer and after a WEEK of negotiations we finally settled on an agreement. This offer has a 70% change of going thru. It is an FHA loan and sometimes homes don't appraise for what the buyer wants. If it doesn't go thru, then we will take our home off of the market, finish the renovations (Troy had a salary increase in the midst of this craziness and so that will help a ton), put the house on the market next spring, rent, save up and then build/buy a bigger home.
