I am so excited, I have Laura Alvarez coming out to help me and of course to visit her daughter Alicia (she goes to school at Utah State)!!!! She will be here for 4 days and it will be so nice to see a good friend. ALSO, my brother and sister-in-law are coming to visit this afternoon. YEAH!!! I still haven't gotten the pictures posted from the last week, but you got to cut me some slack for at least updating after I had twins. :)

It is finally coming... the twins are coming home tomorrow morning. If they do good through the night and pass a car seat test then for sure they will be coming home. Both have to come home with oxygen tanks but that is the least of the worries. There aren't any infections and things are clear with that. The only downside is I won't be getting the 9 hours of sleep I have been getting the last 3 nights. Just kidding, I am very excited about them coming home. Making trips to the hospital 2-3 times a day and sometimes staying 5-6 hours to cover two feedings and save on gas will be over with! Keep everyone posted!

Here are some more pictures of the twins. They are doing fine but still need to be in the NICU for a few more days. Jackie is doing better than Jared and might come home Monday, we shall see. Jared has a little bit of Jaundiss and a slight infections, in which we are waiting for the pathology report to come back to see what is causing it. They both are little spitty and have started some Zantac to get rid of the reflux. It isn't bad just noticeable enough to need medicine. They have good vitals, eat well, pee and poop good. In the pictures, Jackie has the yellow bow. She also has an oxygen tube to help stabilize those levels ever since they took her off the antibotics.

Well I went into labor and had the twins today on my sister Colette's Birthday, September 3rd. We are all doing pretty good, of course tired and exhausted but good. Jackie Olena Nelson was born at 11:09am weighing in at 4 lbs 7 oz and 17 inches long with dark hair. Jared Troy Nelson was born at 11:11am weighing in at 5 lbs exactly and 18 inches long with dark hair. The labor part went very fast, checking in at the hospital at 7:15am and having them 4 hours later (in 5 contractions both were out). They are both in the NICU b/c they need a little oxygen and some extra loving. We are taking it day by day to see how long they need to be in the hospital. There glucose levels go from low to normal and back and forth. I am also trying to breastfeed and pump. Marissa still hasn't seem them b/c they are too little. Jackie looks like me and Jared looks like Troy. As soon as we can get pictures we will post them.
