The Gateway Splash Pad

Image
We went to the Gateway with Rachel, Sherrie and Brian's kids. It was hot! The two blondies are my neices: Kira (6yrs) and Avery (3yrs).   My niece Taylor is with Marissa, then Rachel and Breelyn, my niece (4yrs). Traver (my nephew) is getting soaked, then Sherrie with Jackie. Taylor (13), Halle (10) and Avery.   After the Gateway we headed inside to the LDS Church History Musuem and played in the kids exhibit. It was nice to be in A/C and let the kids play.

Surgery & 9th Anniversary

Image
Happy Anniversary Troy! It has been 9 years today.   (click on the picture to see better) Jare Bear had surgery on Monday to remove the bump on his nose and tubes in his ears. The doctor is pretty sure it was a bony mass cyst. It has been removed! He did pretty good for him... he really doesn't like doctors and is not social. He is recovering well and back to his normal self. This is what it looks like this morning. It is supposed to look worse before it gets better.

Dad's Day (Birthday too)

Image
This Saturday we drove up to Logan to visit Brad and Brittney (&kids) & Grandma. We went swimming at the Logan City pool and walked around downtown at the Summerfest Art Festival. It was a lot of fun. This was our celebrating Troy's birthday. Happy Dad's Day, Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary.... Troy!

Bumps and Birthdays!!

For the past three months most of us haven't been sick.... YEAH! But Jare Bear has had 4 ear infections in the last 3 months. We found out that his right ear's anatomy is a little prone to getting them when we went to a Pediatric ENT. But the main reason for going to the ENT was to look at the bump on his nose. It is a bony mass of some sort. On Monday the ENT doctor will cut a sample off of it and put tubes in his ears. The only thing that makes this complicated is that he has laryngitis, he needs to get better if he has this surgery and he bumped his nose again on the bony mass. Meanwhile... Jackie is on a new medication for seizures and we are hoping this helps. It takes 1-2 weeks to really get an effect. Then we will wean her off of her other medication. And Jackie has an ear infection... she just got it this week. She isn't prone to getting ear infections and it is REALLY hard to tell when she is sick b/c she has very little of the symptoms. So needless to sa...
