Multiple Nelsons

The month of July in North Carolina is ALWAYS humid and HOT.  Usually low and upper 90s sometimes 100s.  So no MATTER where you go, inside or outside places you sweat like a pig.  For us that just means we have to adjust our expectation and prepare. Expectations/Preparations: 1. You are going to sweat even if you are in the shade 2. Doesn't matter the time of day, it will be uncomfortable - might as well get out 3. Must have LOTS of water to drink 4. You are going to feel like you are wet all over and when you go inside you will freeze because of the change in temperature 5. Must plan lots of water activities/swimming/Beach trips 6. The car will be incredibly hot,  you will burn your bum, hands and other parts if you aren't careful.... COOL down your car first before entering. lol 7. Don't take a shower in the morning if you want to stay nice all day... take it at night 8. OR just stay inside. Things we have been doing 1. Library trips ever...

 Summer Adventure 7/1/2017: Meeting Kim Hill at the park  Summer Adventure 7/3/2017: Leesville Community Library/Park and Airport with Lindsay Osterhoudt  Helping G&G renovated one of the rental homes they will be moving into while they build their retirement home July 4th Children's Parade Summer Adventure 7/6/2017 Sewing with me Probably be many more of the summer adventures will be at home.  As we have two children with seizures we can't go places when they have cluster seizures at the same time and this was the case this past week.  After the 4th of July we didn't go anywhere for two days.  At first it was hard but at least I have lots of fun stuff at home planned.
