Am I an Odity?

Image
So I had to take ALL four kids with me on an important errand (picking up Marissa's glasses). I had dreaded to do it b/c it takes me an extra 10 minutes with one extra kid. Just to get out the door I have to plan on 30 minutes (at least) from start to finish. That means getting shoes, jackets, diaper changes, potty, putting kids in carseats, grabbing whatever snacks i can and etc... And then making sure I have all four kids in the car with me and that I haven't left anyone. As I got to the Eye Doctor (the optical is inside the doctor's office) I had to put the twins in a double stroller, Missa helping me push the stroller and then April in a Snugglie. I guess I was a "sight/odity" b/c a woman commented OUTLOUD, "wow she must have her hands full." I almost busted out laughing and wanted to say, "duh". The entire trip into the eye doctor was great... no breakdowns or anything. For now on, if I ever have to go anywhere I must plan extra time ...

Time with grandma Loanne. Grandma has left now and we surely do miss her. She was out her for Easter and then stayed over 2 weeks. It was heaven and REALLY nice to have her help out with things (laundry, cooking, feeding the other kids, cleaning, sewing and EVERYTHING)!   "Jacolena" loves to poke people in the eyes... As you can see even when they are asleep. lol   What do you see? I see a bite mark... by.... Missa. I can't believe this, she never bites but I guess I am wrong. Lately when she and Jare Bear wrestle she gets too aggressive and leaves a mark of some kind. Yeah we are currently in the process of controlling this behavior.   \ Last but not the least... our little "A" has fallen asleep in this strange position. I have noticed this a number of times that she likes to fall asleep "sandwiched" in half. :)

Silly Things

You wonder what things go on while you are nursing... Well Jare Bear decided to empty his and April's dresser. Oh well that is better than some other things. Miss Jacolena loves to dress herself and I just had to get a pictures of it. More silly pictures will be coming b/c our household is quite exciting now. :)

I don't know if you can see clearly on April's left cheek... but she has her first "battle" wound from Jare Bear. He tried to grab her face. Here we go! Things are ok at home, hectic but we are home. Also you can see Jacolena isn't so fond of April yet. Some adjusting is definitely needed.

Well I had April this morning. We finally decided a few minutes ago on the name. Thank goodness. :) She weighed in @ 6 lbs 15 ozs, 19 inches long, dark brown hair, great nurser so far, arrived @ 7:25am this morning. We are doing fine. The other kids are little "out of sorts", meaning Jacolena wants to be held all the time and she got really mad. She then had a small epilectic seizure. So we are trying to get things under control at home. :) Missa has already seen her and wants to hold and kiss her ALL the time. She did really good meeting her this morning. Here is a quick synopsis of how the labor went. It went longer than the other ones b/c I tested positive on the B strep virus. 10pm admitted 10:45pm antibiotics for B strep virus given through IV (has to be given 2 hours in advance of labor) 12:45am Pitossiun started 4:45am Bag of waters get a small pinch hole and epidural given 5:45am Bag of waters broke naturally 7am ready to push but no doctor ( I told them I w...

Easter 2010

Note: Ok so if you look at the times of these next two posts you must be thinking I am crazy... I can't sleep, have been up EVERY HOUR last night and so far tonight... I have horrible indigestion and I am ready to have this baby. While I can't sleep I thought I would do some posting to catch up on things before this baby comes. By the way I am having contractions every 10-30 minutes and with this storm tonight they keep getting stronger.   We went to an Easter Egg Hunt of a Friend of a Friend (they also happen to live 2 blocks away). They hosted a HUGE Friends & Family Easter Egg Hunt at our church. The kids absolutely loved it. J & J kept picking up the open candy, put it in their mouth, tasted it and if they liked it, they would eat it. It was hillarious. T also helped Missa dye our eggs. J & J missed the event but hey naps are more important in this household! :)   This past weekend we went to my sister's house. We celebrated Easter and Rachel's (m...

What Do You Think Cont...

April Fools! (Yeah I know I am a few days late).... She isn't potty trained. The other day, "T" had found Missa taking J & J's clothes, diapers and etc off to help them "go in the potty". Jacolena really loved it and every time she wants to get in the bath now she wants to sit on the potty. :)

What do you think?

Do you think she is Potty trained @ almost 19 months.... What are ya'lls guesses? Disclaimer: Yeah I know she is naked.
