Multiple Nelsons

I am not going to go into too much detail b/c my blog is not private but I thought I would mention that "Jacolena" experiences epileptic seizures. She had some this past fall and once we saw a pediatric neurology specialist about them he put her on a medication to prevent them. She hadn't had any problems since September. Well this past weekend she had 5 seizures in a row and after the second one we took her to the ER. Spent 5 hours there on Saturday. Things are going better now... we have increased the does of medication and her body is trying to get used to that. The side effects take longer to overcome with the higher the dose you take for seizure medication. The seizures pretty scary and you can't hesitate to make a decision on what to do. She has been pretty cranky which is NOT like her. Anyway we are glad that these things can be improved with medication and it definitely isn't easy to cope with when you have two other kids wanting your attention. But t...

All of Troy's siblings came in town but I wasn't able to get pictures of everyone (Jen and Brad!!!). We had a lot of fun times with cousins! note: click on pictures to see the smaller pictures better.   T's brother, Landon and his daughter Riley, then Travis (brother), Troy cooking, the twins and Missa making Valentine's Day cards.   The pictures on the left are the cousins making "heart shaped" cookies. Gavin, Kenna and Missa building a snowman.   The finished snowman! Then we made some snowcream. I realized that none of the family except Travis had ever heard of snowcream. The kids loved it!   Troy trying to "look pregnant". Wow we a sweet husband. :)

This gave a me a HUGE Laugh b/c just before this the twins were screaming and not calming down (I couldn't find their pacifiers... inwhich we are trying to get rid of during the day) I love her. :) Like my tongue? His thoughts... "Why can't I get my pacifier fully in my mouth?" Hum... I wonder why, cause it is wrapped around the string from the blinds.

"Captain Monkey Underpants"   What does she do? 1.Climbs the couch and conquers the Computer and office stuff (pushes buttons on the comp., printer and phone) 2. Copies anything you say or at least tries. I don't know how many words she says and can't remember b/c it is changing ALL the time. 3. Understands most of what you say (got get a shoe, put your foot in, where's your diaper... etc) 4. Can turn the tv on and off and change the channel 5. Loves to play with balls 6. Loves to play babies with Missa 7. Loves her blankie 8. Snuggling is her favorite with anyone "Drive by Swiper"   What does he do? 1. Swipes any and all food you might have at ANY time. 2. Babbles with you for five minutes like he is having a conversation with you. 3. Loves anything electronic and will whine till he gets it. 4. Swipes Captain Monkey Underpants blankie or pacifier even when he already has one. 5. Love to hit and tease his sisters. 6. Finds the trashcan a source of ...
