Marissa @ 11 months

Image
Mischevious Marissa was silently playing in the bathroom. We already put the toilet brush, trash can and other stuff up. "Low and behold" the toilet paper roll was discovered and she started eating. I had to capture the moment!   These next two pictures are of an outfit I tested for my sister, Sherrie. Sherrie makes e-books and handles the testing of new books. I am one of the tester's e-books and thought this outfit turned out great! Here is the website: www.youcanmakethis.com

NC State Fair

Image
We went to the fair as a family and it was great. That day we were supposed to have rain and severe thunderstorms. Well it rained in the morning and one storm came through that afternoon in 10 minutes. We were at the fair for the afternoon and had a gorgeous day!!!! We missed all the rainy mess. Troy didn't try every kind of fried food like he usually does, actually I ate more fair food than he did. He did try a fried cheeseburger, it was that or either a fried peanut-butter and jelly sandwich. Tyler Nelson, Troy's nephew also tagged along with us and rode a couple of rides. We went and saw all the animals, sewing exhibits and etc.. Enjoy the pictures!

Toilet Licking-Angel Strikes again!

Image
Well, guess what she licked the toilet brush again!!!!!!!!!! I thought the toilet brush was put away but someone put it down on the floor and I didn't know that. (my sister, Colette). I had to inform Colette we have a toilet brush taster and that it needed to stay away from the ground. YUCK!!! Anyway, thanks to Rachel Beck for the nickname, it sounds great. So here is a picture of the culprit:

Got a Toilet Bowl Brush?

Today as I was getting the dishes finished from dinner, Troy was watching Marissa (or watching a football game). They were in the great-grandma room which has a bathroom attached to the bedroom. Marissa has ventured into the bathroom but only played with the door. Well.... As she crawled away from Troy quietly, low and behold a toilet bowl brush was discovered. Not only was it touched, but sniffed and tasted from. AGHHH!!! YUCK!!! Troy yells to me after the incident has occured and says that "my daughter" licked a TOILED BOWL BRUSH and how disgusting that was. I looked around and the brush was placed in the sick, away from the crawler. We just laughed and I still think, "ughh how nasty".
