Multiple Nelsons

My redneck son was running around without a shirt b/c the shirt I had for him was too big (It was a long sleeve flannel, tartan plaid shirt). So I had to run back to Brad and Brittney's to get a shirt for him. The tent is our Clan tent... we have work to do with it but this is our "first" year doing festivals. The other guy in these pictures is a man that has Sinclair family and was helping us. He was nice but not very helpful. As you can see he basically stood in front of the Clan sign the ENTIRE time and talked up a storm. Hopefully next time we can get him to be more helpful. Jackie had a hard time ajusting at first... but the most part we had a great time.

I am just like my sisters... I have to match my girls for special occasions. This past weekend we participated in a Festival in Logan, UT for the Scottish Highland Games. I just had to make them skirts. Next year, Troy and Jared are getting kilts. These are the only pictures I took but my in-laws took more. Hopefully I will get them soon. :) Enjoy        

  Her third time eating cereal. I am supposed to give it to her 2x a day but right now I only have time for once a day. She is doing great!   His favorite spot now. He really likes to push the chair up to the computer desk and we push it as far as possible so he doesn't climb on everything.   The big helper who can't seem to hold still.   My little "smarty" pants. :)

Our ENTIRE family slept 2 hours this afternoon after church!!! We must have been tired this weekend. :)

Well these last two days have been filled with important doctor's appointments for J & J. It also has been incredibly exhausting going to these appointments. There has been some conclusions we have come to and decision we have to make: 1. Jare Bear's hearing is just fine 2. His tubes they put in his ears have gunk in them and we can clean them out with 1/2 hydrogen perioxide and 1/2 water. 3. He needs speech therapy and behavioral therapy 4. Jacolena needs speech therapy too. 5. The seizure medication she is on has been making her very irritable and moody. Her behavior and moods are quite different at times. Very frustrating especially when she is generally a happy toddler. 6. We are switching to a third seizure medication: a. the first one we were on didn't do a thing to help the seizures but made her fatigued and irritable b. the second medication (the one she is taking now) makes her moody, irritable and switches her moods quite often... but keeps the seizu...

I am so glad that Aunt Lisa and Kailyn came to visit us!!!! Our Family wasn't able to go the Scheuffele Family Reunion in Washington. (In which we were disappointed, but when you don't have "moola", money, it doesn't work) So anyway we drove up last Sunday night and spent the night at Brad and Brittney's house. Troy camped outside with 3 of our kids, while I slept in the living room with April. It was a full house with, Lisa and Kailyn, Brad's family (in which they live there) & Grandma and Grandpa. We had a blast with a movie on the lawn. Troy and Brad set up the slide project with a sheet hanging from a canopy tent. We roasted marshmellows and played cards into the night!!! The next morning our family went shopping for a birthday present for Grandpa Dan. That afternoon we "picnicked" at the park adjacent to B & B's house. We were really lucky that it didn't rain on us. I have to thank Lisa for the pictures b/c I didn...

  April looks really funny in this picture. I was trying to get her to smile but her fingers were much better. Here is her stuff: Weight: 12.81 lbs (31%) Length: 24.88 (74%) Head Circumference: 15.9in (36%) She is growing and is a very happy baby. Even with all this organized choias at our house she really does love watching everyone else. April is really trying hard to roll, she loves to suck on two of her fingers; that is her pacifier. The bouncy, she loves to sit and watch in it. Reaching for things is getting fun for her. Jared loves to give her kisses (or licks), Jackie loves to hug her and help change her diapers. Marissa is such a great help by holding her, getting wipes, diapers and blankies!

  So for days we had to wait to get together b/c most of the family was having this weird stomach flu thing. We got back from our vacation on Friday July 30th and didn't get together for Tessa's Party till Wednesday August 3rd.   Our family got colds but most of the other families... Tuckers, Grandma & Grandpa, Rachel and Halls got the stomach thing. We got together Wednesday night and had a DANCE PARTY!!!! Tessa was made Queen for the night. The kids had a blast and Tessa was sooo excited to celebrate her birthday with her cousins.  

Too bad I wasn't in that picture. I was nursing my baby and taking care of my crazy kids in the Rv. It was sooo beautiful up there! Thanks JB for the picture. Note: click on the picture to see it better.
