Picnic and My Birthday

Image
The pictures are from a picnic in Smithfield, UT and an "Art on the Lawn" festival. We just got the wagon from Lowe's Improvement and it has definitely come in handy. The water at the park was just a little cold! Troy and I went out for about an hour and had dinner for my 27th birthday and anniversary. (Troy just turned 29) Here I am at 28 weeks with the twins. I think that is somewhere between 6-7 months. I really haven't been keeping track all that good. Also our 7th anniversary was last weekend. We didn't get to really celebrate it so going out to dinner tonight was part of it. Things have been hectic with moving but I can't believe it has been 7 years already. PHEW.... time does fly by. :)

Ward Pee Wee Golf Activity

Our new ward had a Pee Wee Golf Activity. We don't have that many pictures of Troy and I b/c I forgot.

Getting hot in UT!

This is second attempt to put this post. As I was typing this post Marissa pushed the Power Button and shut the computer off!!! I thought I lost these pictures, but didn't. Since I am cutting down on my activities b/c I am getting bigger with the twins, I have more time. So I took some pictures of Marissa in the little pool Troy's mom got.

Troy's Birthday and Do you think sand taste good?

Image
For Troy's Birthay (celebrated a day late) we went to the Logan River and had a picnic with his parents. Troy and his dad went fishing for a while. Barbara (Troy's mom) and I stayed and let Marissa play in the volleyball court and near the river. Marissa was already messy from throwing sand, sitting in sand and trying to get into the water. Towards the end of the night, Marissa was playing with a cup and dumping sand on her. Well we weren't watching too closely and she then tried to "drink" the sand from the cup. I guess she wanted to taste the sand.:) It was the funniest thing ever! Seeing her face with sand all in her mouth. I grabbed her up and instantly tried to rinse out the sand from her mouth. She screamed and got really mad. I wish I had my camera. The reason I grabbed her up very quickly is b/c: Just a year ago a little 2 year old boy caught E. Coli from the Logan River. For over a year now has been on oxygen treatments b/c they can't get ri...

We arrived in Utah

We have arrived in Logan, UT!!!! Yeah, no more traveling for a while. The trip went great and we have settled in at Troy's parents. I was going to give more detail but as I write this post I am fading fast into a slumber. Hopefully I will get some pictures within the week.

Traveling with a child/children

We have made it Denver, Colorado!!!! I can't believe we have made it this far especially with Marissa. Within the first 30 minutes we had a car driving beside us lose their tire at 75mph, swerve, tire parts flying around and luckily it didn't hit us. Thank goodness. With Marissa, if there was other kids to entertain her or she liked to keep a longer attention span the trip would seem soooo much faster. BUT, she is 18 months and being in the car for 8 hours is almost torture. Not really, but just not fun. By around 3-4pm we are really struggling to make it the last little bit to get to our destinations. I have gathered lots of distractions (toys, dolls, coloring books, bath toys and etc..) and they lasted the first day. Good thing she then liked them the second day. The third was quite different. Boring drive and boring for us and her (Kansas and eastern Colorado is boring). We stayed at my cousins house in Kansas City, Kansas and she played with their kids. That was a...

Can't Sleep

Well, I can't sleep. :) We are leaving to move to Utah this morning after everyone wakes up and guess what time I woke up............6am. Bright and early, couldn't go back to sleep. AGHHH!!!!! I was hoping to get more sleep. So with not being able to sleep and bored, I have added more people to the blog from my ward. I hope everyone from the ward checks every once in awhile. Take care everyone and hope to post along the way. Jill
