Multiple Nelsons

Yesterday we went up to Logan and spent the day with Grandma & Grandpa Nelson and B&B. I realized I always forget to photograph the adults including myself. Brittney and I took the kids on a bike ride. It was cold and rainy at times but we needed to get out of the house! The kids kept getting into the fireplace and "A" happened to get the messiest of all. "Jare Bear" cleaned G&G's floor really good. He was loving to clean. "Jacolena" was trying to get some lessons from Daddy on how to catch a football. Didn't really work but maybe next time. "Jare Bear" dug through Grandma Barb's purse and I just had to get a picture of it. I know it isn't that nice of him but he DOES IT ALL THE TIME. We had no idea he was doing it (well i did but forgot about it). These three kids were like the Three Musketeers outside. They followed each other to the swing and wagon. This is what we have woken up to today.... and it is Memorial Day~! Are you kidding me. wow.

Here are the Easter Dresses I made the girls. I forgot to get pictures of the kids on Easter Sunday when we were in NC. Silly kids!

Well I guess I had time to post these. I couldn't resist putting them up. :) Today we went to the Ogden Nature Park. The kids had a blast with all the birds, running around and the inside fun stuff. The highlight were the turkeys that were roaming free. "Jacolena" literally was running up to ride one of the turkeys. Luckily "T" caught her before that and of course she threw a tantrum b/c she wanted to pet them. These things were bigger than the twins. While we were heading out of the Vistor's Center the kids were running and having a great time. Well... Jared trips and falls first, a nice big goose egg on his head. The "Jacolena" falls next but no visible bruises. Then "Jare Bear" falls again while racing "Missa". They then both trip over each other and he gets this NASTY cut on his nose. It starts bleeding everywhere. We got a bandaid and headed out. Then after the Nature Park we headed over to one of the BEST ...

So I have pictures to put up of my kids and so forth from today but didn't do that tonight b/c..... I started a sewing blog.... I have to say Thank YOU to my SIL, Britt. She has no idea what she did, but she asked me about how I taught sewing a few years ago and some advice on what to do. After I talked to her I realized I am at the point where I can do something else. I need to earn some extra money for our family. It is hard enough being on a "student income". So we shall see how the summer goes with the kids and classes. If there is enough clientele then I will do it during the fall. First three pictures are before we left Grandma and Grandpa's house. The last picture is a momentous picture... the twins were actually asleep at the same time for 30 minutes. I actually got to sleep on the airplane! Who would have thought?! Now we are home and I have finally unpacked and getting back into the groove of things. Hopefully things will be "low key" for the next little while.

Friday (13th) we just had a play day! Since there isn't a pool around we made our own little puddle. The kids had a blast and it was safe. We also ran some errands to the store but were only able to last 1.5 stores before Jacolena had a "break down". Yep that is my life, it is hard to shop. Saturday (14th) was an exciting day... We went to the Flea Market and actually lasted 1.5 hours!!! I was very proud of my kids. We even had lunch too. Then that night we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house (the Gandolphs). I also didn't get any pictures of the occasion. But Angie and Shauna (my cousins) were able to come by today (Monday) to say good bye. Sorry Shauna, we forgot to take pictures again. Sunday (15th) was an ok day. The part that made it not a fun day was part of church. The twins were just not going to have it at church. Part of it is they REALLY miss daddy. Ok were do I start..... Me and the kids aren't home yet but I thought I better blog about our experiences in NC instead of just pictures. Week 1: Bartholomew Family Reunion. We all had a great time except for Jared... I think at that point his ears were starting to bother him. Did Troy or I notice? Not really. He was a little irritable, screamed some, slept great but not bad. The only indication was that his ears were bleeding a little bit with horrible, hard, yucky wax. I thought that was drainage from his tube falling out. Easter was great... Colette's Baby Shower was great. Everyone was feeling good. Missa ... such a beautiful picture of her.
