NC Zoo

On Christmas night I was noticing the kids fighting a TON because of being "cooped" up at home from the weather.  I had an idea... the weather was going to be BEAUTIFUL on Friday and Saturday (not to cold or hot) AND Troy had the next two days off.  Why don't we get away as a family? We have passes to the NC Zoo Society and so we planned to stay in a hotel (with an indoor pool) for one night and make it a "weekend" trip. I think it was definitely worth it.  The kids still fought a little bit but they had fun.  They didn't like ALL the walking on the first day (we were only there for under two hours at the END of the day).   After getting to the hotel all the kids could do was ask, "When are going swimming" - 5 billion times. Funny story - there was a German lady with her two kids at the pool when we were swimming.  Her swimsuit (bikini) was not at all modest. Crazy A - "Daddy, the girl...

Christmas 2014 Morning

 Since this is my parent's last time (and ours) to have Christmas at their home we spent the night. NOTE: My parents home is for sale.  Grandpa helping the boys put together their remote control cars.  Her Santa gift was perfect! Not sure what is in her mouth but she loves her Santa gift too.

Christmas Eve 2014 Festivities

"Selfies" on Christmas Eve Morning. Our family opens presents up on Christmas Eve, we have dinner, re-enactment the Birth of Christ and open up.   Presents for four families under the tree... I think we have a bad case of "Gift-i-tis" as my mom said.  Boy cousins actually "playing" together, Jare Bear, Even and Big D.   Christmas Love from Aunt to Niece.  Not so happy kid for whatever reason.
