Multiple Nelsons

He really wanted to put on the glasses but I waited too long and then he really didn't want to wear. them. This past Sunday we celebrated "Missa's" 7th Birthday.  The day before we went to Build-A-Bear to get her a Kitty.  That was THE present, nothing else... those stuffed animals are really nice and expensive.  Note-to-Self... it was way too packed and I don't think we will go to the mall the weekends before Christmas EVER.  She had fun other than having to wait an HOUR just to stuff her bear.  There was a huge birthday party and family group in front of us. Lesson Learned - don't go after birthday parties. She still had fun, we ate lunch at the mall (that wasn't the plan) and even visited Santa afterwards. :) Then on Sunday G&G Bart came over for some cake. 

 "Jare Bear" is finally playing with his trains A LOT.  I think since we had his shunt placed it has helped him focus longer on academics and play.  YEAH! He  wanted to be Santa and this was the closet dress up we have for being Santa.    Crazy Hair after the bath "Mom! Look, I am cookin Missa's cake."

I am almost DONE unpacking.  So far I have gotten done these things: 1. Laundry room set up - HUGE accomplishment.  I still have one fabric box but my sewing stuff is up, game/puzzle/linen closet is organized, we have a dryer and laundry is getting shuffled through.  My mom came to help me and I am very thankful! Oh and I need to bring my sewing machine to our house. 2. ALL Kid's toys organized - I got rid of half of their toys.  I was debating back and forth about putting half away to store and rotate through them.  But as I have watched the kids over the past 2 weeks, I observed which toys they really play with.   3. All other rooms unpacked. 4. We have a list of projects that Troy and I both have.  It isn't lengthy but they are things we didn't feel we necessary to finish before hand but we definitely need. For example hooks to hang all the coats on, finish putting the cable wires in (Troy knows how to do that) and etc. Wha...

    The Chaos.... running around getting used to the new house.  She is now his big helper.  Well more like follower/head toucher and loveable big sis. I thought the Halloween Chaos was over - it is not at our house.  They still act like witches flying on brooms and ask for candy. The House and Move  Dining room/area I debated putting pictures up of our house right after we move, but I realized I am a realistic person.  So here it is... the mess of the bedrooms and boxes. My large beautiful kitchen  Living Room - still a work in progress Bedroom #1 - technically it is the girl's room but "Jare Bear" sleeps in there...on the floor, not the top bunk yet. Bedroom #2 - technically the boy's room, but "Missa" wanted to sleep in the room with Baby D.  So far it is working out.  Right before the move I took the kids to Marble's Kids Museum for their Special Need's Night.It's FREE! I went with a friend (Kim) and her girls.  We had a picnic before and spent three hours there!  I was so proud of my kids for making it that long of a time.  At least half of the time we spent in the very first exhibit that has the barn, grocery store, stage, doctor's office, train sets, boat and bus.  We could have stayed in this ONE exhibit it the whole time but Kim and I really wanted to see the rest of the place.  We headed out to get some of the kids faces painted.  I then took the twins over to get candy from the vendor's table.  That really helped keep the twins stay longer.  By then they were starting to get tired.... and the candy gave them the sugar high that was needed. After that we headed upstairs for the last 45 minutes before the museum closed.  Then when it was time to go, the kids took a l...

 The day before the move I was busily getting things brought into the house.  This is the dining area.  My dad and co-worker still finishing up last minute details in the kitchen.  Our last goodbyes to the twin's speech therapist. We will be staying with the same office just a satellite office closer to our new home.  Both speech therapist have been awesome and adapted well to the twins and our schedule.  NOTE: their last day was Halloween and I forgot to dress up the twins.

Yep, we have moved.  It hasn't been easy but we are "settled".  Still lots of unpacking and organization to do but we will get to it. The kids.... well they are adjusting.  They kept saying, "We are going to the workhouse again?"  Nope this is our NEW home.  "Jare Bear" loves the yard and builds his "Firyer" all the time.  "Missa" love sleeping in the same room as "Baby D".  "Crazy A" loves to have her afternoons back to playing by herself.  "Jacolena" and "Baby D" have lost some sleep and been a little cranky.  Well all of them have been a little cranky with the move and Daylight Savings Time change.   Troy and I are exhausted by the end of the day.  My goal each day is to accomplish at least one task on top of our normal day to day stuff. Right now transportation is a little sticky with the new (Missa specifically) and old schools (twins).  I am just glad I don't have to carpool...
